1) Event Presentation

• Date & Location: Thursday, October 2, 2025, at La Cartonnerie, 84 rue du Docteur Lemoine, 51100 Reims. 

• This event is organized by APF France Handicap in partnership with the Marne delegation, in a spirit of awareness and culture. 

• The goal: to talk about differences differently, to deconstruct prejudices related to disability, through humor, live performance, and activities aimed at schoolchildren. 

2) Program & Featured Artists

• Unexpected Encounter, a tale by Guillaume Louis, intended for children aged 6 to 10, offered in school sessions in the afternoon (2 PM) to raise awareness from a young age. 

• In the evening (8 PM), a public humor show with Lilia Benchabane (a comedian born visually impaired and albino, who incorporates her disability into her artistic approach) and Clément Lefebvre, a young talent from the Grand Est region. 

• Ticketing: various rates (regular, reduced, child), members of La Cartonnerie have preferential rates. 

3) Stakes & Social Impact

• Humor as a vector for awareness: laughter allows addressing disability with lightness and respect, breaking the ice, and removing sometimes invisible barriers.

• Education and inclusion from an early age: school sessions offer students an alternative way to learn tolerance, diversity, and understand disabilities beyond theory.

• Visibility for artists with disabilities: allowing comedians like Lilia Benchabane to exist on stage, reach the audience, and claim their uniqueness.

• Accessibility of the venue: La Cartonnerie is located on the site of the former Dropsy Carton factory, close to the city center, served by public transport (lines F, K of TUR) which facilitates access.
