Today, unfortunately, we can see that :

• 4 out of 5 disabled women are victims of violence;
• 34% of disabled women have been physically or sexually abused by their partner, compared to 19% of able-bodied women.
• 54% of women with disabilities say they experience discrimination, compared to 27% of able-bodied women.
• 57% of women recognised as having a disability are inactive.

Violence against women with disabilities is not only due to their vulnerability and the difficulty of protecting themselves, but it also produces disability! We would like to put forward testimonies, legislation, news and all possible help to fight against this intolerable violence. Whoever you are, you are not alone!
